Events to Benefit SHIP

AmazonSmile

Have you heard about AmazonSmile? It is a program through Amazon.com in which every time you shop, for the same prices, at no cost to you, Amazon donates a portion of the purchase price to your favorite charity. SHIP is one of the charitable organizations you can choose to support.

Follow these simple steps: Go to smile.amazon.com. The first time you go to this site, it will ask you for the charity you wish to support. Choose Samaritan Homeless Interim Program. It is in their list of charities. That’s it.

Then every time you shop at Amazon, be sure to go to smile.amazon.com. (If you just go to amazon.com your purchase will not count toward the smile program.) When you are shopping, eligible items will be marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” so you will know that by buying that item you are also helping the poor and homeless in our area. You use your same Amazon account; you do not set up a whole new Amazon account. There is no additional cost to you. The cost of the item is the same. This is a win, win. So please think of AmazonSmile first when you are doing your holiday shopping.
